About ELSON

A Statement in Simplicity

At ELSON, furniture is more than function—it's a reflection of thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and a commitment to lasting quality.

Born from a lifelong appreciation for design, architecture, and in particular mid-century modern furniture, ELSON began as a personal pursuit. What started as a passion for woodworking and an eye for detail has grown into a focused dedication to creating pieces that are both elegant and enduring.

Designed with Purpose

Every piece is inspired by the principles of mid-century modern design—clean lines, balance, and simplicity—paired with traditional joinery techniques that have stood the test of time.

Working exclusively with high-quality solid woods such as American black walnut, oak, and iroko, each creation is built with longevity at its core. No veneers, no shortcuts—just honest materials shaped with care.

Crafted by Hand

Each piece of ELSON furniture is made entirely by hand in a small workshop in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton.

From selecting the timber to the final finish, every step of the process is carried out with precision and intention. Nothing is mass-produced. Nothing is rushed. The result is furniture that feels considered, personal, and built to last a lifetime.

Built to Last

In a world of fast furniture, ELSON stands for something different.

Every piece is made to order, using traditional methods and ethically sourced materials, ensuring durability, strength, and timeless appeal. This is furniture designed not just for today—but for years, even generations, to come.

For Those Who Value Quality

ELSON is for those who appreciate craftsmanship. For those who believe that furniture should be more than temporary. For those who want a piece in their home that carries meaning, presence, and permanence.

The Beginning

The journey starts with the Elson Lounger—a carefully crafted chair produced in limited numbers each week, ensuring every piece receives the attention it deserves.
